Or at his age and with his injuries, is he going to cash in and then end up elsewhere?

He has two years left on his contract at around 6.2M per, so maybe the CB thin Rams pay him and play him one more year if he can pass a physical.

If I see Justin King out there again, I'm going to puke. He must be the son of nephew of Elvis Patterson, the CB of the NYGiants back in the late 80's that had the unflattering nickname of "Toast" bestowed upon him by his own teammates.

I call King "KFC" because he gets "Extra Crispy" every Sunday.

IDK who will be available as far as UFA's at CB, but Bartell might not be the worst CB in the NFL, even at 6.2M per season for at least this season until we can fill that position.

Or we can just take RG3 and try to outscore the opposition every game because we won't have any money to spend on need positions.

Injuries...yep...that's an issue. But I never was constantly screaming Bartell!!! while watching Rams games.

Once again...with Williams, more blitzing and hopefully more heat...Bartell...can play a bit more physical and be better.

He's not that good, can't stay healthy and counts more than 90% of the corners in the league against the salary cap.

Seems like an easy decision to me: If you do bring him back, make him earn his roster spot back AT A GREATLY REDUCED SALARY.

Same thing goes for a lot of these bozos who I've had to suffer through watching lo' these past few (6) years.

The Linny/Spags/BD era is over! Time to release some (high salaried) flotsam and start a new voyage in RAMS' history!

I think it the Rams work goes beyond those 5 as well. It may even extend to Jackson and clearly Robbins (or it at least they should be a consideration)
