If teams wanted to throw everyone off, just tell the truth. Nobody is going to believe it anyway...

That strategy would work for year or two, until others finally realize that you really believe what you say and do what you say you're gonna.

GMs and HCs could always fall back on the classic Watergate line when presented with a question they don't intend to answer truthfully: "I can't recall at this time."
