Larry Seely, the person who just suggested that Brandon Marshall would be traded to the Rams, last June suggested that Reggie Bush would be going to the Rams. See [
sports.gather.com] So his track record isn't all that good.
Furthermore, it doesn't make much sense from the point of view of the Dolphins, IMO. Why would you give away the only receiver on the team who is worth anything to get a quarterback who would have nobody to throw to. The Dolphin WRs without Marshall are no better than the Ram WRs. I don't see it from that point of view. As far as the Rams point of view Marshall's off field history would have to be taken into consideration. He certainly is a talented receiver but the Rams front office would have to sign off on him. My guess is that Fisher, Snead, Shotts, and SK would all have to approve at some level. A strong objection by any one of them would squash the deal.
However, if the Rams were to trade with the Dolphins, and I think it is possible, there might well be some players as well as draft choices involved in the trade. I just don't think it would be Marshall.
My philosophy:**The draft is for 10 years.
**Upper end free agents are for 5 years.
**Lower end free agents are for next year.
