Plane Ride

One of the enjoyable elements of HERDfest is meeting new fans on the plane ride. There are usually quite a few passengers wearing their RAMS clothing. On this flight, I noticed only one, an attractive woman with a companion. I asked if she was going to the game and she acknowledged, mentioning that she was also at the game where we beat the Skins. That should have been my first indication. So, I asked if she was going to a tailgate. She said no, so I graciously extended her Signman's hospitality and invited her and guest to stop by. They were very friendly and said they would try.

On a bathroom break, her guest, which turned out to be her sister was also waiting for the bathroom, I asked how they became fans and her sister admitted that she wasn't really a fan and that her sister worked for the NFL Network. That was my 2nd clue.

When we landed, at that point where everyone starts booting up their phones, I shamelessly looked down to see that she was texting Les Snead. I didn't bother her again after that.
