during the last 10 years of RAMS football there but I sure can confirm that to watch football there in during that period totally sucked, sucked in relation to the lack of a visual and fun atmosphere.
The appearance and vibes that were there just didn't excite me, it was what it was, a baseball stadium that was accommodating football as an after thought.
Now the grass at Anaheim is another thing all together especially nowadays. The entire grass field is so lush and well maintained that it almost looks fake, it may be about the only thing that is going good right now in that stadium and any place the Angels play, the quality and competitiveness of the team sucks big time, about as bad as I can remember.

in it's football configuration, it was crap for both football and baseball.
In it's current remodeled condition, it's a sweet place to catch a baseball game.
As for the grass, I used to ask my Dad and Grandpa if the grass was fake when I was a kid, because I had never seen grass that looked THAT GOOD in person. It was/is unreal how well the groundskeepers can keep that field in such great condition.
