The UCLA defense have were a below average defense especially against the run and in 2 of the games the DC cited they gave up well over 200 yards rushing and 30,42 points. He is a great athlete who underachieved on the field and benefited from the pajama olympics. He was on PFT with Florio, I for one am tired of all the Pead excuses, somehow the late graduation did not affect Luck who stepped in and did pretty well at a much tough decision. If neither team has a major camp injury As for defense why do you think it will be better? Its going to take almost a full season of success for me to have total confidence in them over a non divisional game against anyone On defense all they have really added was Ogletree who I like and McDonald who replaces Mikell which may nor may not be an upgrade. They are very run heavy offenses and usually play close games, a team like ATL has a high octane passing offense that the Rams struggled with big time last year. Sure maybe they all do not get 80 yard TD's but for me anything above a 20 yards especially on a TD is pretty explosive, the Rams were close to the bottom in those types of plays last year. Multiple Championships within a 4-5 year period and in the years w/o them very close finishes in the playoffs. The Rams are miles away from that but it is not what I am looking for, personally a few winnings season's, maybe making a real run and not being the butt of all jokes on how not to run the franchise is OK for me. Cunningham, he had the largest signing bonus and he may be able to sneak into the mix, from what I read on him I have been impressed. As for Pead, as a mid 2nd rounder from last year, if he does not grab this job by the horns it will be a major disappointment.
