Quoteits not like they will be hired tomorrow by any team.Pioli and Tannenbaum are sitting there because Cosell just got a job with Cleveland. These guys would much rather be in a front office than on a tv set IMO.by moklerman - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
I had to look, so I'm stealing someone's thunder I guess. Those 3 combined for 9 catches. Salas was on NE & PHI and didn't have a catch. Sort of supports the idea that recent Rams receivers wouldn't even be playing, much less starting on other teams.by moklerman - Ramsrule.com Football Forum

KC had a ton of injuries in addition to their poor front office decisions so it's no surprise to me that Cassel took a step back last year. Quotedodgerram I mean come on , the Rams held the Nr. 2 pick with RG3 there for the taking . those GMs who supposedly are all so high on SB should have come knocking down the Rams front door with insane trade offers. After all they all think SB is a franchise QB. And how often do you have a shot a such a franchise changer ? He shouldn't really have a problem with Cassel considering he led the league in receiving TD's(15) with Cassel throwing him the ball a couple of years ago.by moklerman - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Vick and Kordell also played under different rules that didn't favor offenses so much. Granted, these young guys are probably more accurate anyway but all of these QB's success is based primarily on the threat of them running. Defenses opt to contain them rather than rush them and that gives them a much better opportunity to throw the ball. Once that threat is gone or reduced, they will have tby moklerman - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Oh bullcrap. This has nothing to do with Bradford and it's quite obvious that the league had drifted far enough away from defending the read option that on the whole, NFL defenses were ill-prepared for it this year. Couple that with the years of rule changes to benefit offenses and you've got 3-4 QB's coming into the league the past couple of years doing unprecedented things. It's a fluke.by moklerman - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Only because teams are fearful of his legs. He (and Wilson and RGIII) are benefiting greatly(right now) from defenses respecting that running ability. They aren't establishing themselves as pocket-passers who can also run they are taking advantage of the league, as a whole, being unprepared/ill-equipped to defend the read-option/pistol offense.by moklerman - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
I don't think it's actually been established that these guys are pocket passers. They've all had success throwing the ball from the pocket but that, IMO, is because the defense is fearful of their legs. It doesn't mean that these QB's are actually sitting in the pocket, reading the coverage and going through progressions. In Kaepernick's case, when the field shrank, his passing really sufferedby moklerman - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Quoteoldmanram There have been a number of football people that have said that if Martz had not been so stubbern trying to prove that his passing game plan would work instead of running Marshal 25 times the Rams would have won that game.Faulk averaged 18.5 carries in 2001, so 17 carries in the Super Bowl isn't exactly a case of Martz stubbornly trying to prove a point. Silent Stan really surprised me last year when he was a finalist for the Dodgers and with the stadium issues in arbitration the whole situation is obviously more at the forefront than it's been. Quotejemach I wonder if we will ever see how Belicheck coaches without Tom Brady. That said, Belicheck gets the optimum from what he has in place and as mentioned, puts the pedal to the metal. Quotedodgerram The int was a very bad pass for example. It was the right read and a good decision and as usual, Bradford got little help from his receiver. It isn't Bradford's fault that Amendola couldn't separate from the DB or get position. DA's not going to win too many one on one battles for the ball though I guess so was it a bad throw or just bad design to have him isolated down the sideliby moklerman - Ramsrule.com Football Forum

QuotedodgerramRams must provide him with a true Nr. 1 WR, a TE and an upgrade at o-line. And they must do that NOW in this offseason. They have the draft picks to make it right. Then the excuses MUST stop and if he then still is just a JAG with no consistency the Rams should reconsider their committment to Nr. 8.Is it really any wonder that there are consistency issues if they need all of that?by moklerman - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
