Plus, there's big difference between saying the line wasn't terrible or a liability and claiming they played well. I don't think anyone has said they were stellar but they were, at the very least, serviceable. Certainly not a liability or the cause for Goff struggling so often. Goff's throw was affected by being hit but even if he wasn't hit, he was trying to squeeze it to a receiver who was bracketed on both sides with help underneath. Truly mind-boggling that an NFL QB would even consider throwing that pass.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com

I don't think that's a very logical take. The Rams couldn't throw from the beginning today either so abandoning the run and going pass heavy didn't make any sense either. McVay may not have called a perfect game but he didn't miss a wide open Henderson for a TD nor did he miss the 2 passes on the last drive that would have likely led to a FG attempt and win. Top to bottom, McVay is easily the best HC we've ever had. I am very pleased with almost everything he does. No real complaints at all and aside from the miracle of the Rams returning to LA, finding McVay, as a Rams fan, really can't be overstated. But in terms of fun and attitude, I still would have to give it to Martz. I loved the product he put on the field and I loved that he had the atby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
