I think he'll be more valuable down the road than now . . . with Pettis stepping up I doubt he sees much time without an injury getting him in the lineup. However, after Pettis leaves via FA (which is gonna happen) Im betting our starting WRs of the future are Bailey and Quick. In a college situation he was strong enough and fast enough to correct for that and made a lot of plays at UNC. But . . he's 250-255 . . so size is an issue . . also, he is so bullet quick off the snap that he can get out of position pretty easily . . but you trake that away and you're going to lose sacks . . It's a really good one . . . Brockers and jenkins are both going to start making bids for their perennial pro bowl status this year I believe . . So . . looking at year 1-2 for Quinn, huge jump . . double digit sacks in his first year starting . . so why him still from year 2-3? Run defense. Same as LL. Brockers is already really good . . so is Jenkins, they are explosive and have great careers ahead of them. Quinn has 20 sack a year speed and cannot stop the run yet. His upside includes ten more sacks, and stuffing the run . .basically, he could be Demarcus Ware. That is the biggest upside . . He was injured, and that didn't help, but something tells me he didn't have a "take charge" attitude and did not practice the way Fisher wanted him to. The only person we can't afford to lose on our entire team is Bradford . . everyone else has a capable backup or is in rotation. When I look at teams in the conference . . only the Packers can make such a boast . . Rodgers is the only person they can't replace. I think that when Fish drafts someone he assumes that they will be able to take over at some point . . seems like it's take over or be cut honestly. He keeps cost down by drafting and coaching well.
