Thanks for posting. The RG3 thing didn't bother me at all. It's one guy's opinion, what do you want? It was a great read because you could tell the guy really knew the Rams and their history inside and out. So many memories came back reading that. Some of them even good! Signing expensive 30+ year old free agents and boom or bust guys is what you do when you feel you're a player or 2 away from winning it all. And it's hard to argue with either club being very close.. I don't think any of these moves would be good for us, though. We are not 'a' player away. We are several. They ship off anyone who wants more money than they offer and keep the payroll barely above the cap floor. They made a good move a few years back signing goalie Craig Anderson. Then when he wanted more money they shipped him off to Ottowa - where he's now thriving. And the AVS - haven't made the playoffs since he left. The Ryan Oreilly deal this year is the perfect example.
