'Money Hungry - Stripped mentality" What exactly is a 'stripper mentality'. Have you known a lot of strippers so well that you know their personal motivations? And why would apply that label to a celebrated athlete? Would you say Aaron Rogers has a 'stripper mentality?' How about Tom Brady? Cooper Kupp? And who are the 'wrong people' he's listening too?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Players are private contractors - they get paid market rate based on their skill set. I don't know why so many cannot grasp that. The NFL is a business. Stan has more money than he'll ever be able to spend in a 10 lifetimes -why are season tickets, parking and concessions so expensive. Hasn't he made enough money? The teams are fat with broadcast and streaming contracts and those numbers aby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh my, one of the best players in the game, period, wants to be paid like it. Horrors! Poor Stan Kroenke, he probably doesn't have 2 nickels to rub together now that Wal Mart stock has dropped so fare in the last month.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Hard to tell...by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Completely different players, completely different body types and completely different generations of players. Just because a DT's production went down 20 years ago as the crossed 30, does not make it relevant today. Do you think Sapp took care of his body in the offseason the way guys like Donald do? Players that are elite can stay that way for a while, if they're willing to put in the woby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
So, it could be ongoing knee or ankle or hamstring, or...who knows.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Is this possibly an ongoing knee situation that's not going away?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
In terms of explosiveness, speed, elusiveness, etc. Nothing to look forward to. Was there even one play where you got a glimpse of what he can be? His season ended when he tripped, untouched, fumbled the ball and suffered a season ending injury. Plenty of posters on this board could have duplicated that sequence!by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
It's all speculation - because it didn't happen. 'this would've happened and then this' - you cannot predict that. Ever. All you know for sure is what actually happened in a game or a season. That's what I think makes sports so great. The unpredictability. It makes it more exciting. I just felt that Ramsey's timings of the remarks and the wording were a bit of turn off for me.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Have some respect for what ACTUALLY took placeby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
What did Ramsey do in the superbowl that was so special? The OP facemark wasn't his fault, but I'm not sure he made a huge impact on the game. And his horrible attempt to undercut Chase on the final drive was demoralizing. Kupp had a season for the ages and was named Super Bowl MVP. Ramsey has a ring because of Kupp, Stafford, and Donald. End of story.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
the league is doing their own investigation before they clear him to play, they probably will clear him based on their 'investigations' in the past (Commanders, deflate gate, etc) Still 22 civil cases to sort out. he'll probably play while those are still continuingby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Would they have been as inept as they were against San Fran? Blocked punt for TD. Missed field goals, I think too. GB was in a 10 point hole because of ST. Our punt blocking hasn't been great in a few years, so who knows how it would have played out. I for one, am happy it worked out the way it did. i didn't see some sort of burning need to to take out GB. I just wanted a SB title and thby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Seatlle is now in rebuild mode. San Fran has to have their fingers crossed that Trey Lance is 'the one' and who knows what's going on in Arizona. Just a year ago - we were the ones with QB issues (Goff). Now the other teams in the division are where we were 12 months ago!by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
You pay those guys. There aren't many around. He's one of the best QB's in the league - year in and year out. He gives a team that would be 8-8 without him a shot at the SB every year. Most teams would kill to have him. This is 2022. Each new deal will be bigger than the last. It's just market forces. The Amazon money will start rolling in and all caps will go up.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
We allowed them into the tournament, and they took out Dallas and Green Bay - 2 of the seeds above us. We beat Arizona easily, beat the Bucs (we made that harder than it needed to be) and then only had to beat San Fran - in our house. The loss hurt at the time, but everything turned out great in the end. That's why predicting how things are going to go into the playoffs so rarely plays out aby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
the combine stuff is fun and I enjoyed your write up - but the Rams seem to be relying more on senior bowl performance and lots of game tape with advanced metrics to calculate game speed, etc. The fact that neither attends shows how they feel. The combine is good for interviews, but they can do those post combine with players they may have interest in. Maybe they are trend setters this wby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Tells you all you need to know. Lacks football strength, vision, etc. All the speed in the world is worthless if you can't break a tackle or make someone miss. He was perfectly suited to a BS college offense where he got the ball in space and teams played off coverages.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Can't stand Collinsworth. And Troy's a lifelong Rams fanby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He's got great athleticism and as a former DB some good coverage skills. He picked off the pass to end the San Fran game. Would hope they keep him and let Reeder walk. Howard and Jones could be a good pair. If you need an old school LB'er for running downs - Reeder's skill set will be easily replaceable through draft or cheap free agent. Everyone wants athletic linebackers that can run.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams might be looking to upgrade...huh? He was great all season. there aren't a lot of proven kickers available cheap out there. Unless we draft a guy like Cincy's kicker.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh boy. Played a full game and hasn't been heard from since. IR with a pec muscle. Couldn't even make it to dress as a back up for the superbowl He seems like he always banged up. Thank god Whitworth was able to go later in the playoffs.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Jefferson has been ok, but as someone else posted - he doesnt' fight for the ball. He kind of give up if it's not right to him. On the end zone interception he just stood passively at the back of the end zone waiting for the ball to come to him - at least he could have tried to break up the int. Skowronek almost cost us 2 games with his stone hands. The easy TD drop against the 49'ers and tby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Why the obsession with such a mediocre back? Our run game was worse with him carrying the load. You put the ball in the hands of your playmakers. And thatby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
For making a point? Is it too much to ask posters from other boards joining our boards so they can trash McVay, Morris, etc? Posting from reporters who are in the building and have some perspective are enlightening. Posting from other teams fans are interesting and fun, more 'Morris sucks' posts are just tiresomeby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
1 We have a great group of posters with diverse opinions. We have excellent draft analysis from Deadpool and great screen grabs from Younglood 53. Posters share links from journalists and reporters - Jorda, PFF, SI and TheRamswire. We even get perspective on what fans from Seattle and San Fran are saying. What do we gain from more opinions from other boards? 2 When things are repostedby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I never understand why fan opinion posts are posted on here by Berendsen Ram and referred to as 'juicy' or 'enlightening. These are fan rant posts. And we have plenty of those on the board already. Does old...whatever see the criticism of his posts so he can respond? Or is he just a lurkerby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
If they did all the teams would be fighting for the playoffs every year. There are so many duds in there. Judge from the Giants - just awful. How about every Clevland head coach before stephanski (or whatever his name is) Urban, freaking Myer. He's the 'best guy'? Totally unqualified and a train wreck. Your example is meaningless as all those professions require extensive schooling, anby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
and it tells you owners and gm's are not picking the best guy. Adam Gase? are you serious? What about giving Eric Bienemy and Byron Leftwich a chance? Look at who took over for Caldwell in Detroit - they fired him so...they could win 2-4 games a year with bad coaches? At least Elway gave Vance Joseph a chance, got to give him credit for that.
