the Saints D coordinator is good and should get a shot. I was commenting on Dan Quinnby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Love em or hate em, you have to respect them. They had a playoff and SB reign that will likely never be duplicated. I know people talk about all the 'cheating' but there's more to it than that. You don't win all those division titles and playoff apprearances and wins and SB's (wins and losses) by deflating balls or whatever nonsense they accused Tom of. Sorry, but most vet QB's admitted they pby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm thinking maybe Tom gives it one more year. But who knows.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Everyone's in a froth about him. Most of the coaches who weren't very good in their first stint don't go on to have more success later. 2 exceptions - Bellichek, and Carrol. But you're talking 2 coaches in the last 20 years. I bet Jones would prefer Payton to get his offense going,by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
the interior of our o-line was getting whupped on running plays, so it's not like no risk. Plus Gay missed a 47 short, A miss there give the Bucs good field position. Also, as we found out later in the game -runs can turn into fumbles. A quick slant to Cupp or a bubble screen is about as safer as a run and one thing our o-line was doing well was pass blocking. Boy, some posters just like to bash McVay for whatever he does. That was one of the worst snaps I've seen in a playoff game, maybe ever. A bad snap usually skids on the ground, or if it's mis timed it hits the QB in the facemask or hands. It went so far and so fast, Stafford didn't have a chance. 2 weeks ago everyone was killing McVay for just running the ball 3 times against the Niners andby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
If he can't plant fully on that knee and ankle it will definitely affect his performance. Plus being able to track outside speed rush moves could also be an issue. I don't think it's just a pain tolerance thing. It's a movement thing.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
this year - he got hurt, missed some time and got hurt again on his first few carries. an injury one year is understandable, but every season for 3 years means he has durability issues.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
And...he can't play more than a few games without getting hurt.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He's been in the league long enough to stop talking about 'ceilings' or 'upside'. What games has Henderson played that showcase his explosiveness? What's his longest run from scrimmage? How about longest pass reception? Touchdowns? Sorry, I just don't see it. He's a cheap, serviceable 3rd down back. Lacks vision at the second level and goes down on first contact.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He can run, cover and has good instincts.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He brings it every game. Ask Gronk about that. He makes plays, Most importantly, he doesn't get hurt. Has he missed any games the last few years? I can't remember any. Sure he has shortcomings but I wouldn't be so quick to kick him the curb in 2022. Howard and Jones are both much more athletic, but Howard's rookie year was spent on IR and Jones couldn't make it through the regular seasonby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess Seattle wants to just keep on keeping on. Thinking maybe Wilson gets traded to a team like the Broncos. As much as we've had their number, I won't miss playing him twice a year.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Is it an injury? Fatigue? First half of the season he was dropping dimes on long passes. But for several weeks now his deep throws are always under thrown and result in a number of his picks. In this game alone - Skowronek was behind the defense, as was O'dell - both those throws could have been touchdowns. I don't think it's a misguiding thing - I think he just can't throw it that far now fby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I know a lot of posters are calling for Morris' head. I don't see McVay canning him. He also hasn't appeared on the short list for any of the 7 teams needing a head coach as far as I can tell, but that might change. Since he spent a lot of his coaching career on the offensive side of the ball - what about him as a replacement for O'connel if he leaves, or another position. That would clearby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com

7:30 eastern. SNF has had very good ratings this yearby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He was tossed aside like rag doll by Bosa. Maybe McVay shouldn't have trusted his veteran right tackle - but the play never had a chance with that kind of effortby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
That's what they sell ad dollars on. People will generally watch for an hour or more. Just like ads in the first half of the superbowl are the most expensive real estate. Also, younger fans have no problem staying up past midnight. I lived in the easter time zone growing up and through college and I never had trouble watching a monday night game to the end. Playoffs used to just be durby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
The odds of that happening are extremely slim. Honestly the wild card with the best chance to advance may be the Cardinals as much as I hate to say it. I don't think Dallas will lose to San Fran, but it could happen as up and down as the cowboys seem to be. The Eagles - not sure how they're even in the playoffs. They are very good at running the ball, but Hurts can be exciting or terrible. Dby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Better numbers equals more add dollars - better for networks and league. A large number of NFL games in primetime this year were the top rated programs of any kind.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I see a lot of hand-wringing about the drop from 2 to 4. Not sure I see why. We start at home - which is nice. If we were to win (on guarantee - it's probably the Packers, but you never know what can happen this weekend. This year has been strange all season - just look at the Colts game yesterday. So if we do have to go to Green Bay does it matter if we go there in divisional round orby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Or couldn't block a run or pass to save his life. Is it that kind of figuring? What about our 12 wins - those coached didn't have the book and MCvay?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
In the age of Bellicheck it's a tough bar - multiple SB appliances, multiple wins, but he is an anomaly. Mike McCarthy, Sean Peyton, Andy Reid. Mike Tomlin - all coached for many many years (some with the same team). All have a total of one SB win each in their careers. These are the top echelon coaches in the NFL. With McVay I think we have a very good coach, who runs the team the righby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com

Broken tackles, D-line pushed around. the fullback is nice, but you don't need one to be good at running the ball. Very few teams use them anymore.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
But he had a run game, an ol-line and defense to bail him out. As far as the Stafford final pic - it was tough to watch but at that point we had already blown our best chances to win. In OT we had to have a TD - we let them walk down the field into field goal range, and eat near 8 minutes of the 10 minute overtime. If we had forced a punt, and only needed to drive to field goal, maybe heby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
They ran, a lot, even when they were getting zero or negative yards. They didn't go for any crazy anylitics 4th down tries. He did the smart, conservative thing by running the ball at the end and punting it away. They had a 99% chance to win when the 9ers punted them the ball at the end. So, that's bad playcalling? Instead of just dismissing me - why don't you put on your fake coaches hatby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
We went heavy with extra O-line and still couldn't run. Without push and blocking upfront - fullback won't get out of the backfieldby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
