Kind of like the Rams a while back, the bengals, the Jets, the jags. What do they have in common? - bad coaching decisions and bad front office management.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Very few college coaches are successful at the pro level. There are a few like Pete Carrol that had NFL experience. Urban was a good college coach, that's it. And a lot of what makes good college coaches is recruiting. NFL is not even close to the same game. Name one college coach - with no NFL experience - in the past 10 or maybe even 20 years who had a successful NFL run over seveby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He kind of walked into all that, so we'll see what he does with it. It will get harder from here on out.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
they had time for maybe 2 shots at the end zone and dopey just lets the clock run down to :03 and plays...for a tie! Completely gutless. Maybe he didn't trust Bulger. If not, why the hell was he starting the game?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I still think this will go down as a terrible hire. I mean, they're the Jags. They have a knack for ruining everything they touch. And what's up with Meyer - did he do no prep when he accepted the job - like, I don't know, how the NFL off-season is scheduled?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Total mess. Faulk (based on the stat line) had like 8 touches in the first half - but really turned it on in the second. Bruce as great. Holt had a big drop and was mostly invisible. Bulger was god-awful. He threw, like 3 picks I think. 2 were just terrible. Way out of his depth and an obvious career backup. Couldn't handle pressure, ext. Wilkins was their best player - not only theby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com

And someone else can fix the uniforms. :)by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Who exactly is Tommy Mo? And why does he think the Rams LB's are such a deep and talented group? They are the worst rated unit on the team. The way he raves about Kiser you'd think he was the second coming of Bobby Wagner. He also lists Howard as a practice squad player. Um, no, he was on IR for a year. Also no mention of Lewis' inability to play consistently with a knee that we haveby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Based on what? That Staley mentioned something about it. Staley is gone and Hollins has some length to him. No reason to believe he won't be in the rotation for outside LB. Much less competition there anyway.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
The author assumes that Woods and Kupp are will be playing the same position, I guess and so everything else is up for grabs? Cupp will be in the slot, Woods is outside and so Jefferson will likely be the other outside guy, that or Jackson. I mean we run mostly 3 wr sets. Nothing new on the O-line. We just don't know where things will net out. More offseason fillerby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Sorry - he's not a special pass rusher, just a decent depth player. Suddenly he's going to light up the league. Not buying it.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
If you were paid by squats - he's be making a ton of money. Unfortunately outside pass rushers are paid for sacks and pressures. He didn't provide much for us. Glad the 9ers got him - we can single block him or use a TE and nullify him.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Whole QB room met, maskless - and one of them tested positive so all were held out - they used a practice squad guy at QB and he completed like one pass to the Broncos and several to the other team. freaking disaster. I really don't care if players get vaccinated or not. I'm not going to tell people what to do. But the league is a business and teams are playing to win, having a starter miby promomasterj - Bucky's Pub
Players, apparently only interact with other young healthy people from your experience of hanging out with them. The league makes the rules - you're free not to follow them - and free to go work somewhere else. Maybe players should be allowed to play without facemarks if they want, or maybe no helmets. It's their head and face, their choice, right?by promomasterj - Bucky's Pub
And telling him he's not at UCLA? I hope Young is not long for this team. He's a veteran - that kind of coaching input is something you'd expect a rookie making league minimum to get. Hopefully Morris has his eyes wide open about this guy.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Because they're not vaccinated and have to go into protocols. Whatever you want to do to twist the data, the fact is - having most of your players inoculated is a competitive advantage. It's an advantage in training, and socializing, and coaching and being available on Sunday. The players get paid to prepare themselves each week as best they can, to be on the field and compete. Sorry youby promomasterj - Bucky's Pub
Ramsey wondered why they didn't bring Julio in. Ummm, dude, have you seen your own contract? And the 2 first round picks we gave up to get you? Don't get me wrong- it was worth it but Julio was never going to be a Ram.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
His knee is 'still not right' - either his surgery was botched or there's something permanently wrong with his knee. I think it's about time to give up on him as a 'breakout star' this year or any year from now. Hate to say it - you draft a guy like that and you roll the dice. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
No big deal. then you can go.by promomasterj - Bucky's Pub
Only about a million difference in salary, maybe. Young is...well, younger - but Wright might fit more into the win now idea.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
And why it plagued him all last year, including they 'he may have a surgical infection' guess, I'm not going to hold my breath. Maybe the surgery wasn't done right, or there are more things wrong with the knee that they couldn't fix - but who knows? I don't think he can be counted on.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
The supposed 'Woke' commisioner - what does that mean? that the league has finally caught up with the times and maybe their players should be expected to treat women with respect. Wow, that's new, and who wants that? (Sarcasm intended) As far as Diva QB's like Rogers - the start QB's are dictating things because they have leverage. Take away Rogers and the Packers maybe win 6 or 7 games. Aby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
You obviously haven't worked for a company in a while, because this kind of crap is not tolerated by companies any more, and that will include the NFL. What I do enjoy is your gift of foresight - you could call it 'the shining' - where you can see into the future where all the charges melt away and Watson emerges as a fully developed, and better human being - then leads the 'don't force womby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He was scheduled to make a lot of money, so if it's a just a 'he said / she said' slap on the wrist - why would Watson or his agent accept some vet minimum deal to hold a clippboard. Makes no sense no matter how you look at it.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Dozens of women have come forward alleging they were assaulted or co-erced. This is about holding people accountable for their actions, not some 'cancel culture' term thrown around. It's not like he had innapropriate photos or a halloween costume from when he was in high school.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Like, um...sexual assault stuff? You assume he'll be cleared and then be an advocate for that 'stuff'. I just don't understand the train of thought. He may yet be cleared of any and all charges, though it's not likely. And how many years will he be out of the league while it's all sorted out? It's not 1985 anymore - this is not going to be swept under the rug by the commish.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Sign him before his legal issues are settled? And pay him with what - IOU's and notes of encouragement? 'We sure hope you're not suspended' That train left the station a long time ago. Time to move on.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
2 million is way to much for his production. They could go internal for a cheaper replacement. It's not like there will be a talent drop off. Or use that 2 million to sign a veteran June 1 cap casualty LB. His career just hasn't worked out. The Ravens had no problem moving on from him and it's not like the guy is 22 and just breaking into the league. He's 25 now. If he hasn't gotten itby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think it should be mandatory for citizens. My larger point is about a player doing something to help...or harm...his team. There are a host of supplements you can buy legally or illegally - it's up to you if you want to take them, but when your job and your team depends on being tested for banned substances - a player has to put the team first and have control over what they put inby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
