The off-season after we won the SB against the Titans, we had 3 ea. 1st round picks. THREE!!! Superbowl Champs PLUS all these first rounders.... Un-freakin'-heard of, and I was totally on Cloud 9. Of course, we had no idea at that time, that it was just the beginning of a decade of terrible drafting, and a revolving door of bad head coaches (including Martz). I think drafting any RB in round 1 or 2 = admitting Pead was a mistake. - 30 days ago
And I'm not sure Snisher is ready to do that yet. But considering Pead was beatin out last season by a smaller 7th rounder. If Snisher thinks that highly of Lacy, then admit the mistake and move on. .....hear in California. Was out at a lake, and as the sun was starting to go down, we decided to leave. In the parking area, a guy (and family) had a flat, no spare, and nowhere within 25 miles for a repair. He was desperate, so I sold him my 'like new' un-used donut for $50. I was just watching a Tattoo reality show the other day. One thing mentioned was that tattoo's have become so popular, that now there are so many (thousands & thousands) of 'wanna be' Tattoo Artists in the country, and that many of them have no business being in the..... business. SF doesn't need very much at all. They can 'over' bundle & 'over' pay to move up and get an impact player (or two). It's what I would do if I was in their shoes. They are already THERE. One or 2 more very solid players puts them over the top easily (damn I hate those guys). The league is going to have to figure out a way to get to Kap often & early. Thanks Iowa, I'll definately check it out. Like you, I haven't bought a comic since I was a kid, but waited years for the FX to catch up enough to really make these fun to watch. Early on there were several attempts to place these comics in movies, but were real duds. The original C. Reeves Superman ("You WILL believe a man can fly"), & M. I totally get that Saguaro. My whole line of thought is based on Saffold 'not' wanting to except RT money with the Rams, when he, and his agent know he can get LT money elsewhere. But for all I know.... Saffold may end up being the exception to the rule, but IMO that mean not only RT, but less money. It's going to be a very interesting draft. First off, I'm becoming more & more convinced that Saffold will chase the money. That means he wants to play LT.... because he can. IMO, he won't be a Ram after 2013, and we get nothing for him. Unless.... Plan A: Warmack at 16, then Fluker at 22. Begin shopping Saffold immediately (as soon as Fluker is aboard) trying to get a #2.
