This is a really tricky situation. Yes, admitting this publicly could be a cry for help and part of the process he is going through to get a handle on a serious mental issue. Or he could be laying the groundwork for a massive lawsuit against the NFL or have some other ulterior motive. The problem is, you don't want to call BS on something like this and be wrong. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here and assume you didn't understand my point, but this feels an awful lot like someone trolling or at a minimum just being a contrarian. James has elite speed. That is it. Nothing else about his game can be described as elite. Good (but probably not elite) vision, below average receiver, average or below average lateral movement, average blocker andby RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
The only similarities I see are comparable size and possibly straight line speed. Watch James' college film and you'll see a guy who runs really fast through giant holes. I would also say he has good vision and shows nice patience waiting for a play to develop. Some might argue Stevie Wonder could have spotted the holes he had in college, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. BUT - thby RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
I think it would have been a bailout call. Kaepernick heaved that thing while under serious duress. It would have taken a hell of an effort to catch it, although by definition it was not "uncatchable". The other thing I don't really hear anyone talking about is that Reed was right there as well. It appears he pulls up a bit once it's obvious the ball is over Crabtree. Even if Cby RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
This team has a mental toughness that has been lacking for years. Every week it seems they go long stretches with the other team controlling the game, yet somehow they keep within striking distance. This is such a drastic change from years past when they'd curl up in a ball and $h1t themselves when things headed south. Clearly they have work to do upgrading the talent, but it sure looks likeby RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
He catches the ball, tucks it away, then is knocked to the ground. The key is the "football move", tucking the ball away. I have to credit the referees union, they did a masterful job of using peoples disdain for officials to advance their negotiating position. In reality, I've seen just as many $hitty calls by the regular crews.by RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
As frustrating as it is to watch the "Charlie Checkdown" offense, I continue to be surprised at how this team can remain in games even when playing like *&%+. Under past regimes, SF would likely be up by 3-4 scores.by RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Since chip kelly took over the offense in 2007, they've had 5 RB serve as primary ball carriers. I don't think any of them has averaged less than 6 ypc. This doesn't even include deanthony thomas and his 8+ ypc since he's not really the primary ball carrier, just a guy they use in certain packages. I loved the pick for the 9ers. The guy just isn't an NFL back.by RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
I don't see him ever doing much in the NFL. Great speed, but little else. Notice how oregon just plugged in a new back this year and he averaged 6+ YPC, just like the last 5 guys they've had there. Lots of fast guys can pile up stats when they are running through holes 20' wide.by RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
The leg whip is no big deal. That part could be argued as a natural result of getting swung down or even an attempt by Suh to draw a flag. If his leg hit as part of that motion, this thread would not exist. The part that is clearly intentional is when, after his leg doesn't hit Schaub, he extends it right into Schaubs junk. Given his position on the ground, I don't think Suh really knew wheby RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
I didn't see it live, had to go to YouTube later when I saw a reference to it on this board. As it unfolded and I could see his leg coming over, I thought a case could be made that it wasn't intentional. That is until it missed on it's natural arc and he extended it right into Schaub's man parts.by RamEd - Ramsrule.com Football Forum

QuoteSpeed_Kills hes no head case... he is not all talent and no brains I think Cam Newton is actually reasonably intelligent, certainly intelligent enough to succeed as an NFL QB. That said, he is a head case, but I think it stems from maturity and entitlement issues rather than lack of intelligence. Possible he just incorrectly remembered that it was McNair's mistress, not his wife, that shot him. Or perhaps he was being sarcastic saying having both a wife and a girlfriend tends to be problematic. What I am pretty sure his broader point was, that I agree with, is that McNair's poor and perhaps even reckless decision making was directly involved in the ultimate loss of his life. Obviously he's not going to admit it. I get that and wouldn't expect him to. However, I thought his smug "I don't know what you are talking about" reply didn't reflect well on him. First, the interviewer mistakenly refers to Hekker as "Rocca", the skins punter. Fisher just rolls with it and continues to answer the question. Being distracted by that, I almost missed this and had to go back and listen to it again to be sure I'd really heard it: "He nailed that ball and the little man caught it and, you know, lost 10 yards on the return." "Knock the snot out of 'em" "Make them cry for their mommies" "Kill 'em all, let god sort 'em out" "Make them get up looking out their ear hole" etc. It's a violent sport and coaches have been using these sorts of figurative and imaginative statements in their locker room speeches and on the field for almost as long as the game has been around. He is an incredible talent, but you are right - something is wrong with him beyond just a lack of discipline. If someone can figure out how to get him under control, he could be the next Ray Lewis. QuoteRamsFanSinceLA I don't know why, but for some reason, I think with the new coaching staff (read "know what they're doing"), our OL will be much better with a few tweaks through FA and better health. Generally I tend to think coaches get too much credit and take too much blame based on how a team is performing. But in this case it seems there is an overwhelming amount of data to suggest there's a systemic problem with the OL.
