If Coradelle Patterson is the Wide Receiver pick in the first round he has special value as a special teams player which I think is being overlooked. He might be raw like Quick as a Wide Receiver but from watching his tape it looks like he has much better natural instincts at the position. Also he can be a gamechanger "playmaker" at punt returner and kick returner. Found this interesby DESERT RAM - The Original HERD
Sando "Complaint department: I suppose we could complain about drawing Steven Jackson in the Atlanta Falcons' home opener, when Jackson figures to be fresh as ever. But that would be a stretch." Hey don't worry, Steven Jackson usally starts the year off with a pulled groin or hammy during the first game. ;>) Actually Jackson was a warrior for many years playing on horrible rby DESERT RAM - The Original HERD

No, because I think he will be a good right tackle and we still might sign him at that position. I would however take a second for more young cheap talent to add to the roster. Desert Ramby DESERT RAM - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Are you kidding..., we would be the laughing stock of the league hiring an 82 year old defensive coordinator. He would be dozing off in the 4th quarter. Desert Ramby DESERT RAM - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Chris Carter of the Vikings comes to mind. I believe he was a second round pick ...cut by Buddy Ryan of the Eagles, picked up by the Vikings and now entering the hall of fame. Not saying Titus Young is hall of fame type material, just that turnarounds do happen. Good Luck Titus Young, welcome to the Rams...this may be your last chance. Show us what you got! Roman said "IMO if we go and get a WR in the draft we will be making competition to the position, but at the same time we may lose a player in the process that was already on the roster...who just needed to develop." WHAT'S WRONG WITH COMPETITION? Competition at all positions on this team should be something the coaches strive to accomplish. When there is competition no one isby DESERT RAM - The Original HERD
Martz's technique is not to criticize the starting quarterback but to make an example of the backups. This was pointed out in interviews of Curt Warner and others, several times. I also would like to see Martz back in the league as he has a great offensive mind and I like his philosophy of playing to win versus playing not to lose. Saw that Dick Jauron is not returning as Cleveland's Defensive Coordinator. I recall that he has had some top defenses particularly when he was at Bears. He runs 4-3 attacking type defense. Might he not be a canidate for Defensive Coordinator. Fits Fisher's pattern of hiring experiences coaches but I am not sure if they have ever had any association. Hope not. My first thought was comparing the Mike Martz hiring of Larry Marmie as defensive coordinator in 2004. Please don't do it! The defense played inspired ball this year, hiring Rob Ryan could be a big step back! Desert Ramby DESERT RAM - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
p.s. I hope this isn't Jeff Fisher's " Larry Marmie" type hiring. Desert Ramby DESERT RAM - The Original HERD
I hope not. He hasn't proven anything in the NFL yet as far as top defenses go. I guess he is Buddy Ryan's son and loyalty seems to run deep in the NFL. Makes me wonder if Buddy called Fisher and said you owe me. Or maybe not. I would hate for the defense to take a step back next year. DESERT RAMby DESERT RAM - The Original HERD
I would never make that trade. Giving away a possible impact player for marginal players not equal to the value per trade chart. Desert Ramby DESERT RAM - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
RFIP says" at least we don't hire douche bag coaches"1972— really what about Head coach Fairbanks who in 1972 accepted a position with the NFL's New England Patriots. He left behind a mess for the new head coach, Barry Switzer. Soon after Barry Switzer took the reins of the program, the NCAA forced Oklahoma to forfeit nine games from the 1972 season due to violations involving theby DESERT RAM - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Jackson led the team to a couple of victories all by himself. However a back that just barely gets over the 1000 yard mark should not be team mvp. Not when AP gets 2000+ yards. To me it shows we don't have many playmakers on offense, yet. Desert Ramby DESERT RAM - The Original HERD

The offensive line at USC has sucked all year. They lost the best left tackle in football a year early to the nfl draft (vikings) and the center was out with an injury early in the season. After that they couldn't protect the quarterback which led to too many sacks, bad mechanics by quarterback, etc., . It will take USC a while to recover from the penalties imposed by NCAA. Goodell did the right thing trying to suspend Sherman and your analagy of Goodell vs Pea Wee Herman is offensive to both. It wasn't his fault that the individual who handled the urine sample didn't follow correct procedure. I am not disappointed that Sherman didn't make the pro bowl as it wouldn't be fair to the other players. Just like playing on PED's isn't fair to the other players. "how many times have we seen calls that send the WR's 15-20 yards down field on a 3rd and 2? " I don't know how many times? While your checking count the number of times it worked. Also sometimes Coordinators have to go against the grain to break patterns and tendencies in order to keep defenses honest. If we run the same old 3 yard pattern on 3 and 2 it's pretty easy to defend. Soby DESERT RAM - The Original HERD
yeah....what's he thinking...Fisher ought to hire you guys as advisers....wait...on second thought I hope he doesn't hire yous guys! I think Fisher knows what he's doing. Then don't be! In all honesty, I am worried too. Really... Bradford has only won the last 4 out of 5 and 3 roadgames in a row. How bad does it have to get before we replace him. I don't think it will affect Fisher either. Playing for the Rams Danario would have at least 8 games on turf which is not good for joints. Playing for San Diego Danario gets to play 14 games on grass as I believe Raiders, Chief's and Bronco's have grass fields. Wish Danario well, wish he was here but playing in San Diego could extend his career. Desert Ramby DESERT RAM - The Original HERD
