Van Jefferson might be a good building block for the Panthers... just sayin'... would you trade him, Akers and maybe something else for McCaffrey?by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
IIRC it was that the money he was getting was not enough to keep him from his family. Are there player coaches? Pay him as a coach first and then as a player. No cap on coaches is there? lol Kidding... I don't think he will come back... but this could be a scenario where it could happen...by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
He wanted to give Noteboom a shot and for the money he was getting it wasn't worth it to him to stay... Not that he was necessarily done with the game. Also he said he is training the same as if he were playing... So my guess is that maybe he would consider playing in the remaining 11 games... It makes a lot of sense, especially now that Noteboom is out. Put him at LT move Jackson back and get Shby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
And does that mean anything to the Rams?by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Just to find someone that can handle punts... that he has added offensive weapon to his job description is a plus. But I don't think he is the receiver that Atwell is. I wouldn't put it past him to be a deep threat, he seems to have a lot of football smarts... and motivation. He is one of my favorite players. Hopefully the OL heals up and can be good enough to allow McVay to run the offense.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the Rams were very comfortable with their starters and their back ups. Meaning if one went down then another could take their place... but 4 spots on the OL have had new players... I don't think anyone can be that prepared. I too would have preferred OL but a deep threat was a need. And I think that is their drafting philosophy with higher picks. OL wasn't a need until an unprecedenteby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't see it with the same clarity. It seems he believes he can play at a high level... if he could do that then he would be playing. Also the typo in the mantra... should be "too" powerful... Just sayin' if its your mantra you might want it to be correct.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
The article says you don't have to spend a high pick on a RB and then says the Rams value RB too much by spending picks in the first 5 rounds. The OL is only in trouble because of injuries. Some of these players will come back. V Jefferson will also come back. If the Rams were able to coax Whit back then a healthy McCaffery could completely turn the offense around and into a top 5 offense. Getby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
And if you want there to be money for the players then don't subject the European Division to a salary cap. That would likely have players scrambling to go to Europe.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
That's just a show... an act. How hard would it have been to have found the guy and apologized personally to him? If I pushed someone out of anger or by accident and there was virtually no reasonable excuse, then I, and everyone else with an ounce of integrity, would seek the guy out immediately to apologize. And if I had millions of dollars that guy would be treated very well. Bets I could do isby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
He wasn't running off the field. The worker didn't bump into him. If the worker had retaliated Adams would have cried victim... just like he will when there is a lawsuit in his mailbox. However, shoving someone is not much of a crime... but if there was a fine for being a POS then Adams would be in trouble. Truthfully its a bad look for the NFL. I would be more surprised to see this swby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
It's basically a nightmare scenario and one that probably couldn't have been avoided. Injuries happen and sometimes they happen in bunches. Until the Rams can field some semblance of a starting OL then OBJ makes no sense. I don't know what to do at RB... A quality OL will help a lot. Probably solves the problem actually. But I think the Rams' RBs are suspect.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Not exactly. The fans are about as inspiring as the OL.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
when you are the worst of the worst group in the NFL... and if the lights haven't come on for him by now, will they?by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think its hurting at all... I just hope the rest of the league doesn't catch on. But if they do and 1st round picks meet their value then I hope the Rams are ready to jump.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Injuries to the OL are killing them. They were set up to withstand an injury or two... but this is crazy. No running game. But the backs suspect anyway, in my opinion. The Rams just faced two strong DL's. And with the worst OL in the league it was disastrous. Perhaps if they can sign a vet and get some players back then things will start to gel a bit. Can Stafford stay healthy that long? Heby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I have NEVER heard someone here question the loyalty and fandom of another herd member. You've done it twice and I don't even know who you are.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
There's no reason to panic... what are they going to do anyway? The OL is not one player away from being solid. They need to get healthy. They need to run the ball effectively. If these two things happen then I think Jefferson might have an impact. But with Stafford being under constant duress there is nothing they can do. Just wait to get healthy... maybe try to find some help from somewhere. ??by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
That's exciting. I am sure it is going to be a great experience. I haven't been either... actually I have never been to California. I am hoping to make the trip there in December.... hopefully ticket prices will come down by then. You will have to let me know if it still has that new stadium smell.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
1. We are only 4 games into the season. 2. Stafford is still playing 3. ??? That's all I got.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
but it doesn't seem like that is the case anymore. As long as the Rams are playing well in November/December, to me that is all that matters. Rams are struggling to run the ball. And they are struggling to stretch the field. They have the injuries that are hard to overcome... and the Rams haven't beaten the niners in the regular season in a long time. And the niners had a good game plan. If tby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
First off, I don't think not playing preseason games helps in the first few weeks. But in the NFL, do you want to win the first game that is played or the last? Allen Robinson is a good WR. I think things will connect. But he definitely doesn't look like a difference maker at the moment. I like the Rams RBs. I also like the addition of Malcom Brown. But none of them are stars, IMO. I didn't get to see Rams games so just to see the helmets on the field was awesome. But then Directv came and it started to lose its luster a bit... and now, I have zero interest. Now if you make player involvement somehow count towards a better draft pick or something, then whatever the Pro Bowl is will hold more interest to me. But I can't think of anything the NFL can do to make to make me tunby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
There is definitely some kind of addiction in it. For me cars are the same way. I would own 20. I just bought a Les Paul with a rounder neck that I like... actually love and a few weeks before I bought a Telecaster Vintera (the new Baja tele) which I also love... once I do some work on the frets. Hard to believe a $1200 guitar would come like that but... I love the sound AND the neck shape. Yby Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
I guess that is open to interpretation but definitely not close in my opinion... If it had been on a game winner I might have a stronger opinion.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Always the voice of reason. As fans, we seem to lack the capacity to learn... or maybe its more fun after a loss for so we can go apeshit and go on a rampage. Maybe that is what being a fan is all about. A fanatic is not necessarily reasonable or subdued in their disappointment. But this happens every year, especially after a loss. It's like making tacos and finding out you only have American cheese... Wings are a tradition for certain games... usually televised games. Anyway, I have been a lot more disappointed with some wins. But I expected the Rams would lose this game... big. They would have done a lot better against a poor team and we wouldn't be talking about needing a new OL, a new RB and the loss of Robert Wby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Will probably look a little better next week. This loss bothers me zero. Plus I knew it would be a bad night when my wings were delivered without blue cheese.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Damn. Just going to say, I can't do that... I too got chills listening Donald talk about winning the SB. Would I be off base to say that he is this generation's Deacon Jones? I mean a comparable Rams defensive player based on impact? I constantly am telling myself to be appreciative of what I am seeing. So easy to take it for granted.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
At least that is what I was hoping someone would post. I am going to the Dec. 8th game against the Raiders... alone... I don't really want to sit on the Away side. I've checked all of the normal channels... tick pick, ticket master, vivid seats... etc. etc. etc. and they are relatively the same. You might save $15 or $20 somewhere. I guess that matters more if you are buying multiple tickets.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
