And it seemed that most were willing to kill and die for the fur trade. Lol. And the Indians were exceptionally violent at times. I don't know much about the time period though. It has always struck me as odd how much willingness to die the Civil War soldiers had. Even the kids wanted to, and sometimes did, go to war. You don't see many duels today... Not bad but I had no expectations going in. There are a few things that drive me nuts in movies; a few times there were some inexplicable gaffs or scenes. The one that I couldn't get over is the one where he is struggling to get to a stream to get a drink of water... he dips his fingers on the water brings them up to his dehydrated lips and it appears that he was dying of thirst... but when hby Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
just not good enough to choose over other shows... A good show but I only watch maybe 2 or 3 hours of TV and/or maybe a movie a week and I would choose a bunch to watch before that. It would probably be better to wait for the season to end and then watch all the shows back to back.by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
then you would think it would make it easier on the QB... It appears they are using TA less as a decoy for the run game. Perhaps defenses have caught up to that. Its a sad offense to watch. The OL is just a mystery to me. Healthy and underperforming. Boudreau IMO makes chicken salad out of what he has had... now it appears that he has chicken salad and is making chicken poo out of it. I'm glad you were finally able to take a step towards ending the pain. I'm praying that everything works out like you want it to... you certainly deserve it. Time to dust off the acoustic perhaps?by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
The Lions defense is not exactly the barometer I would use to gauge my offense... nor one game... "Bennie is our 2 minute back" Really? I mean I am a fan of BC but that just doesn't add up for me. Taking TG out on 3rd downs doesn't either. Saffold says they need to work harder... Again, really? Not sure how what he said is actually being interpreted but I don't understand most of it. I mean I understand what the words mean but the order of them is leaving me confused. Sounds to me like he felt like he had a bad game. Not sure how anything else is being gleaned from it. Caught 10 passes, sounds pretty good to me.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Just a question because I don't know. But do defenses defend the run for 3 quarters and allow Keenum to beat them if he can. And then lean their focus to stopping the pass in the 4th? My guess is it has more to do with Keenum wanting to be Favre but can't or the predictability of the offense. Idk. Either way... It's not good.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not sure how to describe where we live, other than for the most part people are friendly. I didn't know there was insurance for that kind of thing though.by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
I don't think any of them have any concerns about it. Many do have pine tree property "fences" but I don't know the reason. The back yard kind of faces West and the sunsets are nice but we will probably give that up, to some degree, for some trees. We made an offer, so we must be Ok with it lol... We also plan to fence the yard so we won't actually be going into the field, especiallyby Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
I don't know what goes into that but for whatever reason it, IMO, it was important to Stan. I was good with Fisher on a 3 year plan. Stop the bleeding and get the franchise pointed in the right direction... He's done that. I'm not sure he's capable of doing much more with the team. But I get the feeling that Kroenke hired him to move the team. And that the team was middle of the pack was probaby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not, never have been and never will be a fan of Fisher... He is a considerable notch above Haslett in my book which is still very low... So from that perspective I can't wait for him to be gone. And I do think Fisher is a problem but I am not sure how much blame to actually assign to him. I'm not sure what is going on with the OL. Why didn't the Rams just draft Matthews for LT instead ofby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
WTF was that? was the question I muttered to myself after the game. I'm still not sure what happened... other than "you can't turn the ball over". The Rams need to win the turnover battle. Not really down an Keenum but he did have some really bad throws. Not sure what the deal was with Quick on the last INT. I know the announcers were all over Quick and probably was his fault but itby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Perhaps the key is Brown. He runs by 96 (i think that's the number) and goes for the db. But if Gurley goes left then 96 will just stuff that with Harkey essentially whiffing on 53. If Brown blocks 96 then there's a chance that Gurley can find a crease. From the timing of it Gurley may see Brown and think he is going to make the block. But I'm starting to lean toward Gurley making a mistake and tby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I just don't see that the mindset could be anything other than straight forward. It appears that Gurley had his mind made up. But he could have thought that Saffold and Robinson would fall down either.... The OL is a mess at times. And that was pathetic. Barnes was little better but at least he kind of got in the way. Its a foot... I don't think you go sideways there.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
but honestly, even though I think this is a pretty area... its not San Diego. And it gets cold here. And the summers are hot and very humid. There is a video the "Bass College" did at the pond. These guys go to New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland and, of course, Delaware. So if you want to go fishing, lets do it. I thought he played soft, missed clutch catches and, despite reports otherwise, I doubted his commitment and leadership. He was basically Jared Cook. He was the opposite of all that last Sunday and overall he has impressed me this year. I was was not enthusiastic about signing or re-signing him... But if he wants to prove me wrong, I truly hope he continues to do that. A beast against Detby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Pretty sure he is supposed to run where he did. Saffold and Robinson both fall down. Barnes kind of did something to stop his guy. Easy stop. If those two block their guy it has a chance. I'm not sure what the problem is. But the execution of whatever that was looked all wrong. And the Rams should be able to get a foot for a TD so I don't know. Starts at the Delaware Bay and ends up in creeks and long ditches with a few ponds in between. And I believe the ponds were created by dams because of the mills hundreds of years ago. One thing about this pond is the drop off. Most ponds in Delaware slope gradually but this drops off to 4 ft almost immediately. I will have to check it out more closely. Recent water tests have been fine with several of the neighboring properties. And the home inspection if we buy it will also have to reflect the same. to see what he is made of. He appears to be playing timid and I seriously doubt that is his character. I just want to see if he steps up if given the chance. I wanted to believe the Rams made up for all the picks they traded by shrewdly drafting hidden gems... But it appears that might not be the case. I'm not high on Hemingway and I'm not sure what to make of him... With the mess the offense is in I doubt we will see him. They are just trying to function. Who is going to come in and do a better job with the talent that is along the OL? Suddenly, the league has caught up to his tricks? That doesn't seem reasonable. My guess is that it has to do with talent, scheme and the defense overcrowding the box knowing that a few completed passes won't hurt them in the long run. So we have narrowed it down to building a house or buying a pre-exisitng home. and any of the games the Rams played (except the first one, barf) could have gone either way. It seems to me that the Rams are usually going to win or lose ugly for the rest of the year and the parity will allow them to do so.
