I have a feeling he has a sixth sense and tons of experience every time he sits someone. He did it a TON last year and it freaked me out . . Im not worried about it now. I dont think it has anything to do with Quick's preparedness.by alyoshamucci - Ramsrule.com Football Forum

Seems like we're grooming Barksdale for ORT . . . but having a slate full of talented O linemen is how you end up with compensatory picks and great depth. Its good business. Braden is solid, and BYU has some talented linemen . . . but he is a year asway from being full go for a game. Hope he ends up on the PS . .by alyoshamucci - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Thats a really good point that I forgot about. It's also a very subtle point, nice catch. Its easier to find the set-up rhythm if you dont have to worry about the fact that its a 55 yarder every time.by alyoshamucci - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Im assuming that Im not the only one who has been furious at our execution in the red zone over the past few years . . So let's look at what we've done. We were around the 19-23 mark in the NFL last year If Im not mistaken, scoring a TD about half the time. My question is where we think we will rank this year. We have lost SJ. We have lost DA and Gibson. That is what we've lost. Weby alyoshamucci - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Schiano, a college coach who has in no way earned his stripes in the NFL is calling out his QB or trying to motivate him because 4000 yards and 27-17 isnt good enough? Stupid. You know what good young coaches do? Not that. What is funny here is how Freeman is on the hot seat . . . I think thats funny . . So what we're saying is that as quality QB with a decent amount of wins onby alyoshamucci - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
Freeman has done an excellent job in a mediocre at best situation with little to no consistent play from his surrounding cast. His defense gave up 30 points a game last year. He had a rookie RB and a new WR and a new TE that both started coming on late in the year . . along with a new offensive system. Schiano is about to learn the difference between a good QB and a below average one.by alyoshamucci - Ramsrule.com Football Forum

Dunbar was very good at Will. . not awesome overall just "awesome for Dunbar's career" was what I was going for. Dunbar can play WILL. I dont know that Fish believes he can play SAM. So we have a big athletic kid to add to the mix . . One thing I think that gets missed, is that Ogletree played Inside in a 3-4. Its not like the Will is his position of specialty. With Merlin. I siee the move as simple. "Hey, he sucks at this, we better throw him in, its not like he could be worse than McIntosh, and when he learns he'll be one of the more physically capable LBs in the NFL . . Nah . . Bradford's first time in the same system . . young at RB is no sweat. Bailey and Austin and Cook are all pros . . Our defense hasnt really changed, and our offense has gotten way way better . . . We lost some really close games last year . . we could have been 9-6-1 really easy. I think he could really be pro bowl caliber. My guess is still 85 catches and 1200 yards, 7-9 TDs.by alyoshamucci - Ramsrule.com Football Forum
We'll pick in the mid-late 20s, but washington's pick will be around 6-8. Too many teams depend on health in our division . . they won't all stay healthy. We'll win the division.by alyoshamucci - Ramsrule.com Football Forum

What he can do is run and hit and make plays. They arent worried about that. As a result I dont think they are going to focus on that. If they were frightened of teaching him I think they would have out him at weakside and just told him to do what was natural. But they didnt, they put him at strong where he has to deal with blockers, use technique and strength, and cover. The truth is heby alyoshamucci - Ramsrule.com Football Forum

It was that good a year at safety. He has spectacular speed . . and is an amazing open field tackler . . but how many safeties were drafted ahead of him? 30? Seems like pretty close to 30 . . on out of every 8 players taken was a safety. Thats a LOT of safeties. I just checked, it was only 21. D'oh, so one out of every 11 players . . Stacy is a workhorse back . . perfect for the lead role in a time share with another change of pace back and receiving threat. I doubt Pead or Richardson goes anywhere this year, but the one that is gonna be with us for the long haul should be decided by the end of the year. I have my eye on Spencer Ware too. I think you may have misunderstood me . . Im looking at special teams. Ray isnt going to see a down at LB in Horns.
