He was one of my favorite actors. A scene stealer! Playing "Mack" in "Cannery Row" is an all time favorite of mine.... but loved the guy in every role he played.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Can't remember when I last ate there..... maybe 6 months ago. Great find! This time? Not good. Actually I'd say the appetizers were 'bad'. I won't be returning.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
The only problem I've had at replacing batteries is when a certain brand discontinues a certain battery type.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
batteries. I'm VERY lucky to get 3 years before the battery is toast. They've always provided enough power for most things BUT.... for my weed eater I have a gas model, not cordless. No chance a cordless would work for me with a weed eater.... too big of an area to cover, weeds are too tough.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I mean, not personally. One of the members in my band was a huge C&W fans and I'm pretty sure we actually used to play one of his songs. Don't have our set list in front of me at the moment but I'm going check that out..... something about 'working man'? - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Probably a dozen of them? maybe more than that. We see mountain lions on our cams almost nightly. And even so it is rare indeed to see one while driving around our ranch. I think they are bolder in the cities... like San Clemente or the LA area in general since they no doubt see people constantly and have grown used to them. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I once saw a wild boar leap and clear a barbed wire fence. Going UPHILL! Yeah, Coyotes trot... until the "kill is on". Some years ago I was at a youth, (very young kids), baseball game. Probably T-Ball (don't remember). Next to the baseball field was an open patch of land on which a 'city' of squirrels had taken up residence. All the kids were watching the squirrels. However.... since it's my granddaughters birthday and it's her request to go to "Wasabi Off The Hook" for dinner, (sushi restaurant), I hereby decree that sushi is, indeed, officially part of my diet foods. And while I'm at it.... I'm also adding: $13 Hibiscus Dream blue chair coconut rum, st. germain elderflower, monin hibiscus, pink lemonade & fresh blueberries Funny thinby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I was told that the anesthetic they give you for a colonoscopy, at least for me, does not put you "out". I have no idea what that means because I remember NOTHING during the procedure BUT APPARENTLY I'm awake while they're doing it? If so, I'm awake that is, I can't even imagine the language I'm bombarding them with when they insert that thing-a-ma-jiggy.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
There is no apocalyptic disaster that could eradicate coyotes and rats. Not a meteor the size of Ohio. Nor a volcano with the diameter of Australia. A tidal wave the height of the space station wouldn't deplete the population of coyotes or rats in the least. Dangerous? Well, never thought of a coyote as dangerous. Could be to a small child, I'm sure. Hell on small pets. Although, and wiby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
After our band gigs it was tradition for us to stop in at a breakfast restaurant for breakfast.... which it actually was since we'd get home around 5 or 6am. I grew up not eating breakfast, except for the occasional bowl of cereal. I've always loved cereal. I can eat cereal for dinner. BUT... today a full meal of breakfast food is probably my favorite. All breakfast foods... cereal, hotby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

So, apparently, all you guys are getting your homes repainted, free health insurance for the next decade, season tickets to the Rams, DirecTV for life + Sunday Ticket, a new Tesla, access to my refrigerator, college tuition at Stanford for all your kids - grandkids - great-grandkids- great-great-grandkids. I hope you're happy. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I did not know any of that. Can't say I'm surprised, however. It's always amazed me, no doubt because I was born and raised in the country, on a farm, how most people prefer tight quarters. NOT as tight as that island, :laughing , but nevertheless still claustrophobic, to me.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
His family just sent a photo and my son had the smallest possible gelato.... like maybe a half a cup, if that. I took away his man card. I'm surprised Rome didn't run him out of town. Less than half a cup of gelato? That's not even a single BITE! If I had been there I would have denied knowing him. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
loss of habitat is the biggest threat to all wildlife. Going to be the same for humans in the not too distant future. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
If you're being attacked then yeah... you can protect yourself. It will be investigated because Mountain Lions are a protected species in Calif.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
You probably read about it. Two brothers - one died from the attack and the other, last I heard, had serious injuries. I expect this to get worse - - - Mountain Lion population is exploding. I think I mentioned that we have more on my ranch than we've ever seen. Hard to get a count.... but we think there are at least 5 on our ranch plus the connecting BLM land. Around 5,000 acres. 5 inby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
He's in Rome right now and texting me photo's of all the gelato's he's having. I'm cutting him out of my will. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I do watch the occasional fight..... but rarely Heavyweights who, IMO, are boring to watch for the most part. I have paid for PPV... but not the way you guys are talking about. They used to have "Closed Circuit TV".... so you'd gather in a movie theater, (as an example), and they would show the fight live on a big screen. I saw many fights that way. I've been to only one Heaby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
My favorite memories of ALL my travels came by surprise. And yes, many of them involve getting lost. In fact: When gadabouting around Europe will intentionally "TRY" to get lost because we know that if we succeed something good and memorable is going to happy. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

Not Ireland, that has the original barrels used by Guiness. My son took me there. You're right.... if memory serves.... You pour your glass half full the let it set... for quite a while. Then you top it off making sure it has a good head - it's critical. I am not known for having good taste buds but even I could taste the difference when Guiness is poured correctly. Before I went to thatby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I included "AppleTV" in the subject title so you'd be aware you can't see Manhunt without AppleTV. I love history. All of it. But without doubt the era that interests me most is the Civil War Era... say, roughly, 1850 to 1880. NOT just the war. Manhunt is about the hunt for John Wilkes Booth. I have read a LOT about Booth.... to include the hunt for him and his capture; so Iby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
But yes, I have jumped from pretty high. More a "my macho was on the line" thing rather than something I wanted to do. I'd say 40'..... seemed like it took me an hour and half to hit the water. :laughing Probably my longest jump, actually it was a fall, was closer to 60's. I was hunting and crossing a wash that had a fallen tree across it. I took a couple steps on the tree andby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
No offense intended but never the less - you're an idiot :laughing Read that tight fit cave opening, UNDERWATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and thought to myself what I have long suspected. "You and Steve are completely kookie-putz, whacko, nutso, insane, not working on all 8 cylinders". I could see myself diving into a cave.... doesn't bother me, (to think aboutby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I use Apple Music and NO... this isn't an ad for Apple Music.... pretty sure LOTS of other music services do the same thing - no difference between them or if there is it's minor. I'm sure ALL of you have known about this next for years... I'm tardy. :laughing Apple Music analyzes my listening habits then creates playlists for me. I had never tried it, until last night. I google'd, (actually I don't use google but another search engine), for the most comfortable shoes one can wear. And I did so with full knowledge that I would not find an honest review on the web but rather what someone could make some money on by pushing a product. But with no where else to go... I searched. If memory serves I got a list of 5 shoes... rated in order. The top choice accordby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
As you know I live in a very small community. The town has maybe 800 people and the surrounding area perhaps another 100. BUT... we had many WWII and Korean Vets. Nearly all the men of that age served. Our last vet from that era had a normal funeral and the American Legion was also there. Which is why I'm replying here - can't say enough 'good' about those guys in the American Legion. Iby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
